The Challenge

Future-Proof Testing Technology for Extreme Operational Environments

The deep sea is rapidly growing in importance as an operational environment for both commercial industry and the defense sector. To meet this demand, the customer needed to drastically expand their existing testing capacity and increase their maximum test pressure capabilities to reliably qualify state-of-the-art subsea components.

At the same time, the company faced skilled labor shortages. The new testing solution needed to deliver high efficiency, boosting overall productivity while conserving valuable personnel resources.

The Requirement: A future-proof test system capable of reliably building pressures up to 800 bar, featuring a large-scale test chamber to accommodate heavy subsea equipment, and utilizing high automation to minimize manual operator workload.

The Solution

Fully Automated High-Pressure Simulation – Maximum Capacity with Minimal Operator Effort

We developed a deep-sea simulator featuring an operating pressure of 800 bar and a spacious test chamber measuring 1,050 mm in inner diameter and 2,200 mm in internal height. Thanks to advanced sensor technology and innovative locking mechanisms, the system operates with exceptional cost efficiency and opens and closes fully automatically.
